After a year-long postponement due to the global pandemic, the much anticipated Tokyo Olympics 2020 is finally taking place between 23 July and 8 August, in the Japan National Stadium, Shinjuku.
On Monday, The Opening Ceremony will begin at 12:00 pm (20:00 local time), followed by Men’s and Women’s Individual archery events which start at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm respectively.

The International Olympic Committee has announced no spectators are allowed at the venue, due to Tokyo’s state of emergency in response to a spike in Covid-19 cases.
As of 19th July, there are 58 confirmed positive cases in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics (see the official list here)
Several athletes have tested positive for Covid-19, including South African football players Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Thabiso Monyane, and American tennis star Coco Gauff.
