Complete our simple contact form
We need a few details, including the address you’re moving to and the date for the big move. Once we receive this from you we’ll do the research to find out what type of broadband your home is eligible for. Not all deals are available nationwide, and things move pretty fast in the broadband space, so we’ll check for the best deals in your area.
Get connected in one phone call
Next we’ll give you a call, discuss the options with you and work out the best plan, deal and provider with you. We understand that everyone wants different things from their internet connection, and we work hard to create a broadband package tailored specifically for you.
We’ll ask you a few questions to find out what kind of internet user you are, and what kind of package you’re looking for. Using this information, we’ll recommend the deals we think are best for you, and make sure you understand all your options.
Our expert team specialises in finding you the best deal for your needs. We’re not tied to any provider(s) and our advice is independent, impartial and fair. You’re in control throughout the process, and we’ll never try and push products at you that you don’t want.
One you’ve decided which deal is best for you, we can sign you up for it over the phone. You don’t need to fill out lots of different forms – our team will set it all up for you to save you time and get you connected as fast as humanly possible.
How long does it take to get my broadband set up?
How quickly your broadband gets connected depends on a number of variables, including which provider you’ve signed up with and where in the country you live. We know that getting broadband to your new home is a priority, so we’ll help you find the deals with the fastest setup time.
Generally speaking, the process for broadband connection can take anywhere from 3-20 working days.
Will an engineer need to come to my house?
In many cases the router can be sent to you through the post, and all you need to do is plug it in then you are up and running. If you do need an engineer to install your internet, then we’ll let you know.
Are there additional fees for having an engineer come to me?
On some occasions where engineers have to setup a new line or come out when they would not normally have to, an additional fee may be charged. However, a lot of packages include engineer installation callouts in the initial purchase. Again, it just depends on which provider, what package you choose and what needs installing.
What do I need to do?
Your broadband provider will send you an email confirming the details of your new package.
Depending on who you decide to sign up with, your router will either be delivered through your letter-box or an engineer will have to attend to install it. Some providers will need an adult over the age of 18 to be present for the delivery of the router. All you need to do is plug in your router and you should be ready to go!
What happens if I have any questions or there is a problem setting up my internet?
We understand that not everything will always run smoothly. If any problem does occur, you can contact your internet provider directly. Alternatively, feel free to give us a call or an email. We will assist you in any way we can to ensure you get set up as quickly and as easily as possible.
Can I exit my internet contract with my service provider before it expires?
It can be a tricky and sometimes arduous process to exit your contract early – without paying any fees. Most of the time, you will end up having to pay the remaining months of the contract you’ve signed. Exit fees may also apply even if you are not on a specific long-term contact.
Our advice is to check your contract carefully, and make sure you understand the ramifications before leaving your provider. In many cases, the exit fees mean it works out cheaper to simply stay with your current provider until the contract term expires. This makes it all the more important for you to choose the correct broadband package the first time, and we can help you with that.
All internet providers will offer a 14-day cooling off period, during which time you can cancel and avoid exit fees. If you believe you have been mis-sold a deal, and the service you are receiving is not what was offered, then you are also within your rights to contact your provider and leave the contract.
Will I lose out by not going directly to internet providers?
Absolutely not. You will never lose out by choosing to connect any of your utilities through Please Connect Me. We guarantee to offer better or equal deals to those on the open market. We can offer better deals through our affiliations with many of the UK’s leading providers. We work with a large representation of each market, and we will never give biased opinions or try to sell you something that isn’t absolutely right for you.
To find out anything else, or if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch. It is all completely free, and you will get straight through to one of our Connections Experts who can guide you through the process and find the right deal for you.
